We just finished our season yesterday and it went great. We won a Big East match against Villanova
and that had not happened since 2001. I also set a school record of winning more matches as number
one in a season.

When you work long hours and live alone, it’s easy to fall into a pattern of fast-food and takeout.  It’s not
very healthy, and it’s expensive.  I always wanted to stay in shape and eat sensibly.  But I didn’t know
where to start, or how to sustain a balanced diet.  
I first met Katie when my company sponsored one of her great nutrition seminars.  My co-workers and I
were impressed with her ability to explain everyday nutrition in a clear way.  And I’m glad I made the
decision to continue one-on-one counseling with her.

"My husband and I saw Katie because we needed help developing a healthy life-style that worked for
the both of us and our hectic schedules.  The challenge was that our dietary needs were very different. I
was more calorie conscious and easily gaining weight while my husband had to watch his sugars as he
was diagnosed with diabetes but also needed ample calories.  Although we thought we were nutrition
savvy, we learned more than ever from Katie.  Katie developed individual plans for each of us and
reviewed them thoroughly. We began right away clearing out our pantry and have since been eating
whole foods, have cut out most low/fat, no fat foods and have replenished with whole foods with minimal
additives and preservatives.  My husband's sugars have stabilized for several months and I have lost 12
